I wish I lived closer to you, I'm in the process of moving and just threw out a huge stack of Playgirl mags dating back to the 80's. 😞 Wish I could take them with me but won't have the room to keep them. LMAO! I was a horny kid and I wanted me a guy BADLY. Probably how I became ambidextrous. I'm right-handed but used to forge the nots in my left hand just in case the clerk tried to get me to write something to check the writing. Always  devious little thinker hahahahah

Worked up the courage to buy my first Playgirl at nearly 16 because Sam Jones was in it and I had had a permanent hard-on for the whole year everytime I saw a poster for the "Flash Gordon" film. It was a retrospective called, IIRR, "The Men of Playgirl." I truly felt that the gates of heaven had opened up just for me. You have to keep in mind that this was 1981 and male nudity was pretty much non existent. The best you could hope for, if you were truly lucky, was a sideshot or hint of a butt in those "artistic" postcards that a few daring shops would sell. But with Playgirl, all these gorgeous hunks baring it all was a handful (emphasis on "handful") of fantasies come true. It didn't matter that it was all softcore. This was enough to get your imagination running (among other things). To this day, names like Jean-Rpbert Lecoq or Demian Wolf stir... something, somewhere. 

For my first Playgirl, my story was that I was buying it for my sister's birthday, back when I was maybe 19 at a card/gift store...the lady at the counter said, thats ok Honey, we have men come in to buy these magazines all the time!   OMG I was so embarrassed back then.   Still enjoyed my magazine though!

Yeah, I remember when I was so embarrassed to buy Playgirl and other mags. No Internet. Quite another era for gays.
