quiet day - the high point was going to the library, and I am getting ready to cook supper. today's lineup has a surprising number of blondes; my fave rave is Richard Jaeckel, a blonde veteran character actor, who, in days of yore, frequently played a beach bum or other ne'er do well - my kind of guy! a hearty welcome to our newest clubmembers; I got a nice mash note from one reader, and, darn it, have forgotten to write it down, to give him a shout-out. regardless, I am happy to hear from clubmembers who claim I am doing all right. cowabunga!
