So, did anyone catch the game last Sunday night? Well, even if you didn’t, spoiler alert, by now the whole internet knows Italy won the UEFA Euro 2020 Championship against England, who were very confident they would win.

So confident, in fact, that there was a slogan, ‘It’s Coming Home’, meaning that the football (soccer) victor’s cup would be going to England for the first time in a while—England's only major trophy win was back in 1966 when they won the World Cup.

But, alas, Italy turned out to be the better player here, and the slogan very quickly and wittily became ‘It’s Coming To Rome’. Regardless, the internet has been going nuts with this whole spectacle, meming things left and right.
