y'know, some people wonder why I am so inordinately crabby. well, I'll tell you - this stupid computer is coming up with more ways to annoy me. the latest is, all my tray icons disappeared. but hey boy, all I have to do is click on the disappeared start button, and awaywego. I am serving notice: if I can't get this thing repaired in the next two or three days, I am about ready to toss in the towel. :wow:

I hear you.  Being old(er) doesn't make me near as crabby as my computer can.  I understand now why people are glued to their smartphones.  They're trying to figure them out.  Hang in there!  We really do enjoy your photos and blog.

Y'know, a lot of people [myself included] tend to right click things on the desktop that just throws everything off.  Example: I end up with the taskbar on the right, left or top of the screen.  All fine & good for some, not for moi.  Your new keyboard should have a Windows/start key [between ctrl & alt on the left side]; hit that and bring up your Start Menu.  Select "settings" and search for "taskbar."  Enter.  Then geek out yourself into a stupor!  Didja know you can actually drag -n- drop the taskbar to any edge on the screen?

Happy modifying!  😉
