The Easter was unlike any other: Millions of people around the world stayed home — away from their families, churches, and communities — to practice social distancing amid the coronavirus outbreak  More than ever, people are in need of messages of hope, faith, and joy — and that's exactly what Andrea Bocelli accomplished with his performance on Easter Sunday.

During the 25-minute live performance , Bocelli performed a medley of holy songs. Because Italy extended their national lockdown until at least May 3, the cathedral and surrounding areas were completely empty, making Bocelli's mesmerizing voice the focal point.
