as Jed Clampett used to say, wee doggies! we attained 29,000 members today, and I am so proud! Tuesday - 17th

oh, this day had content. first time in a long time, I blew off Perry Mason in favour of reading the paper. then left out for a haircut, which did not work out, as I had to pick my hag up at the detail shop. she then insisted on treating me to lunch, to which I acceded with the proper amount of denial. had a nice lunch, though if I really thought she meant to pay, I would have had a piece of pie 🐷 after taking her home, I got my hair cut, so I am ready to meet the rat pack tomorrow, not looking

Monday - 16th

ah, where did this day go? I vaguely remember doing a load of clothes, so I would have something to wear when I went out. not today - it was too freaking cold. and I fully realize people who are in the frozen north of yankeeland and Canada find it humourous that we suffer when the temperature reaches 32º F, but we do not find it fucking funny! nuff said!! a note of explanation, a zip file is added today, as apparently I screwed up yesterday, for which I say mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa

what a day! Thursday - 12th

an exciting day! I went to the University of South Florida, and I have to tell you, a more mixed-up confusing campus I have never seen. after 45 minutes of driving in circles, I stumbled upon my destination. interestingly, the valet parker does not give a ticket, rather demands a phone number, which one recites upon leaving. okay. also, there is a big sign saying that valet parking costs $3, only when I enquired about paying, they said there was no charge because I had a disabled sticker. okay.

dunno where the day went! Wednesday is lunch with the rat pack, and we were so happy to welcome a couple of refugees from Minnesota. went to the library, and I guess I spent the afternoon circling the drain. Tuesday - 10th

lessee - what happened today? Tuesday is garbage day, which is always exciting, and I went up to the food bank and got groceries for a lady who feeds homeless people. beyond that, oh I put up a decorative wreath to replace my holiday wreath, and I worked on my collection, as always. today's feature must be Andy Mantegna, a beautiful child who died much too young, to my distress. he will be sadly missed. I have no idea where the day went. I did some good, taking socks and towels up to the shelter and getting them out of my life. today is a day for rejoicing! we have achieved 28,000 clubmembers, a benchmark I never dreamed possible. thanks must go to all involved. I always try to put a word of welcome in for newbies, and I say it now. my feature for today is Claude Maguire. two things I have to say: 1) he is not my type, and 2) he puts a hitch in my gitalong. wow, I am glad he is not near at hand, or I would spend all my time licking his features. he is really, really cute! hope you like the rest of my selections 🙂

I'm trying to figure how to work around the saying "no good deed goes unpunished." I had a coupon for $3 off at the local super duper market, and I picked up certain items, including a bar carrot cake which I did not need. Tuesday - 27th

up-and-down sort of day. still cold. had to go by the food pantry, and they were somewhat scanty. regardless I got a benefit and passed most of it on to a local soup kitchen that caters to homeless people. then zipped over to get a haircut, so I look nice for tomorrow. somewhere in there, I went by a dollar store to get some bon-bons for the staff at my physical therapy clinic. and got therapped, and on home to look over the boys for you. my feature will be Tyler Lough, who sports what Matt Damo

I wish you all a joyous, meaningful and safe Christmas. Merry Christmas, everyone!
