this will not go down as the most successful day in history. I woke up at the crack of dawn, decided to go out for breakfast, and found the first fast food facility was happy to take my money, and I was expected to leave without sitting down. the second fast food facility had kiosks for ordering, that I did not find user-friendly. I went to Walmart and bought some breakfast sandwiches that were unsatisfactory. so I flopped down on the sofa for about four hours, waking up wondering WTF was going

this day has brought some interest! I chose to drive to Aldi, which is 8 miles out in the country, and has a nice selection of items imported from Germany, as well as came recommended as a good resource for affordable spices. I got some oregano and a box alleged to contain a little bottle of almond extract. except when I was putting the groceries away, I came to find out that there was no almond extract in the box. that is a completely new customer complaint to me. well, to the club - man, it's

I postponed this message in the vain hope we would tick over 14,000 clubmembers - also got interrupted by my dallas hag with some technical stuff. then we got talking about elections, and swapping war stories. man - I do not miss getting up at 4 am to administer an election. the topic came up because I got an editorial letter published, and it's nice to have my name in the paper and not have it on the police blotter 🙂 so, to the boyz - it is nearly impossible to choose a favourite or a feature.
